SnowPixies Favorites #2: Set up a Nativity Scene

Setting out a Bethlehem nativity scene somewhere in your home can be a meaningful Christmas family tradition. This display will serve as an important reminder of the reason for the season!  Involve your little SnowPixie by allowing it to watch from its crib as the pieces are set up.  While that is being done, ask your child to explain to the SnowPixie what each figure represents.

Nativity scenes can be quite elaborate (and expensive!).  You may already have a nativity set, but in keeping with our desire for simplicity and involvement of your child, stores like Hobby Lobby have nativity scenes made of wood that your child can customize with paint or markers for less than $10.  Here is a link if you are interested:
